Reading Summary

During silent reading, I read an article about a cyclone named Sidr hitting Bangladesh. It was a very devastating storm. About two thousand bodies were found and more dead bodies are continuously being discovered. Millions are without homes, and clothes are in out in the cold. The government is doing its best to help the people and private organizations are are also helping out. The sundarban forest was hit badly, damaging 74 acres of the forest and killing many, many animals. The sundarban forest is the home of the royal Bengal tiger. About five thousand fishermen are missing after the storm. It is thought that they are either dead or were swept away somewhere else. Recovering from this storm may take some time.
